This week's CASology Cue Card is Silly!
Making this card reminded me why I hang onto certain stamps, even though I don't use them often. These eyes are from an old, old Stampendous Cupcake set. At least I think they are - I can't find the set anywhere online - it may not be Stampendous, but it had a big cupcake and lots of different faces. For the shocked mouth, I used a small oval from Paper Smooches Shadows. The sentiment is from MFT Piece of Cake.
Originally I stamped it all on a flat white panel, but it seemed a bit boring - almost too much white space! So I decided to cut out a circle to make the face look more like a face. I inlaid the circle back into the panel - you can see where the cut is, but there are no additional layers, helping to keep this card very CAS.
I know that I've seen a similar idea before but I can't remember where or when - please let me know if you know so I can give credit.

Lol!! This face matches the greeting just perfectly - Great!! :-)
Brilliant way to construct this face, and you paired it with the perfect sentiment.
Haha! Super fun!!
That face says it all!
Absolutely love this! And, I agree, the face matches the sentiment.
This is really a laugh-out-loud card, Ardyth! And must be the reason I keep ALL my stamps. ;)
That's how I feel each time I have a birthday Ardyth! So clever how you added the inlaid circle - it's the perfect amount of detail on your super CAS card!
Love that silly expression, so fun!

Hahaha ... so fun and clever, Ardyth ... and definitely silly! Love how the expression reflects the emphasis of the red 'how' in the sentiment! Hugs & bisous mon amie, Anita :)
