Happy Birthday, Kara!

I was so worried about getting my Mother-in-law's birthday card done and in the mail to Scotland to arrive on time for February 2 that I almost forgot our neice's birthday which is January 31. She lives outside London, so it needs to get into the mail as well!

This idea came from the overlapping sentiment on my MIL's card. I love the big bold colours (My Stamp Box Tall Solids Alpha) and the overlap (Uniko All Occasions Sentiments #2).

  6. Fantastic Ardyth! I'm so glad you sent me here as I gladly browsed the beauties you have been creating lately. How I miss just hanging out there and looking at nice creations... It is funny how we've done this, and my card for next week's CTS also features the same BIRTHDAY sentiment ; ) I'm loving my Uniko Studio products!! I hope you're well ; )

  12. Yes, absolute stamping perfection...something we have come to expect at every visit! Achieving flawless ink coverage in large images in NOT an easy task...and you repeated it 5 times!!!

The "Birthday" stamp is the perfect match! You are amazing!

  13. This is so bright and happy. And, I just love the way you overlapped your letters--how did you ever get the spacing so perfect. I must say that the title of your post made my heart skip a beat when I saw it in my Feedly--my first thought was that I missed my stamping friend, Kara's birthday.

  19. This beauty has been sitting in my Pinterest birthday card board for what seems like forever. Love the tall bold font paired with the thinner, rounder birthday font.

I finally tried to use these sets and am wondering...What ink do you usually use with this letter set? I'm not seeming to get good results with my Distress Oxides, my Hero Arts dye ink or my Altenew dye ink.

  20. Debbie - That is an oldie but a goodie! Either use a stamp positioner with any ink (because you can re-stamp multiple times) or use my favourite, Catherine Pooler Designs inks - they give great coverage on large solid stamps.
