Winterhaven Stamp of Approval - Release Day

It's release day for the Winterhaven Stamp of Approval collection! If you are on the waitlist, you can purchase it now. If you are not on the waitlist - if there are any left, they will be available tonight at 6 pm. (UPDATED at 6PM - There are some boxes left - if you want it, click here!)

I've got two more projects to show you using the stamps and dies from this amazing box of goodies!

Stamps: Ornamental Background, Good Stuff
Inks: Flirty Fuschia, Tiki Torch, Party Dress, Lime Rickey, Fiesta Blue, Black Jack, Versamark

This one even had DT members asking me how I did it! With some selective ink blending, I managed to make the white-embossed ornaments colourful centres and look like they are on a dark background.

I started with white cardstock and embossed the whole background stamp with white embossing powder. Using daubers, I blended coloured ink into each ornament centre. Then, I used a Q-tip and Black Jack ink to apply ink between the ornaments.  Here's a quick video:

Stamps: Here We Come A-Caroling
Dies: Good Stuff
Inks: Rockin' Red, Lime Rickey, Midnight

This one is simple but with big impact. I cut the tag and inset panel from white cardstock. I blended Rockin' Red ink on one edge and Lime Rickey on the other, not quite meeting in the middle (these two complimentary colours do not make a pretty blend when together!) Then I stamped my trees, sentiment and Santa's sleigh and added some pretty ribbons.

Done all in red that background would look like Christmas candies, Ardyth. I love how you did that. The inking on the tag is gorgeous. Pinning everything to my SOA board and patiently waiting for my box.
