MFTWSC314 - Happy Birthday

So it's that time of year in my family, when many of the boys and men have birthdays, creating a need for masculine cards. This one is for my dad and I used the current MFT Wednesday Sketch as my inspiration:

This is one of my favourite Happy Birthdays - its font is strong and graphic and perfect for masculine cards. I added some MFT Red Hot stars for a little celebration.

I used:
-MFT Delicious Birthday
-MFT You Move Me

ETA - the more I looked at this card, the less happy I got. So I did a do-over!

I changed to a square, changed the shade of red (garnet is January's birthstone). Lost a happy - and yet I am happier! lol!

I think both cards are fabulous! I love the bold graphic feel of the repeated happy sentiment and those little stars are the perfect finish!

And now you have two cards ready. ;) I know you like the square format but I'm with Sandie on this one although I do understand the garnet coloring for January.

Both designs rock in my humble opinion 😘

Two wonderful cards Ardyth - but i can see why you prefer the 'do over'. The garnet is striking.

Definitely wouldn't want to have to pick a fav between these two fabulously clean and tidy cards! I really like how the red pops on card two but I also really like the simple color scheme of the first card! This stamp makes my heart smile!
