Watercolour Cards

Still playing with Concord & 9th's You Are Enough. This time I watercoloured, using Distress inks. Again, I cut the edge so that the flower petals could hang over a little bit. Sentiment is from Birdie Banners.

I also made this card for Simon's Wednesday Challenge, where Technique Tuesday products are being featured:

The red edge was created by putting some red Ken Oliver Colourburst powder into a container of water and letting the paper soak it up for a while - I love the movement of the edge - almost like it was splashing! I used an old Ali Edwards/Technique Tuesday sentiment.

Fabulous cards Ardyth - love the way you have sited the Thank You sentiment against the edge of the colour in the second card.

Beautiful cards! My favorite is the lovely flower but I am so intrigued with the fabulous results you got in the second card. Because of the color it sort of looks like boiling hot lava to me but it does look like waves, too, so perhaps it's the Red Sea :)

Two more stunning creations! The watercolored flower card is so pretty! Love the white/stone layers.

Awesome second card! The 'soaked up' border is so cool! So cool that the 'soaked up' color left the perfect spot for the "y"!

Hanging off the edge draws more attention to your lovely watercolored flower. And that red. Wonderful!
