QFTD160 - Bonnie

Lately, I haven't had much time to spend at Splitcoast or playing along with their challenges. But I'm always so excited when I discover that one of my friends is chosen as Splitcoast's Queen for the Day or Featured Stamper! This Friday's QFTD is Bonnie. I really enjoyed going through her gallery, there were so many amazing cards to choose from - I finally settled on this one:

You know I love a rainbow, and this card of Bonnie's shows a clever way to use your scraps. I used distress inks to create my rainbow, but I over-stamped using Stampin' Up's Mixed Bunch to represent the patterns on Bonnie's rainbow.

Fantastic card Ardyth, your patterned rainbow looks amazing and I love the peek of glitter at the edges. Great take on Bonnie's card :)

We will from now on call you "Ardyth, Queen of the Rainbows". This is so pretty. Happy and bright. Love the subtle flower and the bit o' sparkle. Perfectly popped against the gray too. Have a good Sunday. Bev

I love the softness of the flower-pattrned rainbow. And, of course, the Stickles highlights it perfectly!

Beautiful job melding one color into the next! I really must try some distress inks if this is what can be achieved. Love the over-stamp - adds a subtle bit of pop to the rainbow!

ACK!! I love this one!! It's like my most favorite strip of washi tape (if I could commission a roll). Super-amazing. Love the gray border too. I can't keep my hands off gray recently.

I love this so, I want to CASE it back! I will combine it with a technique I haven't tried that looks fun (using candy cupcake sprinkles for a watercolory dots look)..Current papercrafts magazine. When I get around to it, I will post back to you!!! :)
