CTS25 - Joy to the World

Time for this week's CAS(E) This Sketch, this time by Jackie Rockwell. We have a new DT member this week - the super-talented Donna Mikasa! Welcome Donna!

I turned the sketch on its side to create this graphic Christmas card in classic colours, using Memory Box Parker Upper Case letters. The red mirror card looks almost liquid in this photo, doesn't it?

Now it's your turn. Don't forget to link up before the deadline next Tuesday at noon!

I could not click my mouse fast enough to find out how you created the 'liquid glass'.....turns out it is trick photography :) :) :)

Gloriously clean & simple - brought 'joy' to my heart!

Wow, I also thought you'd been at the UTEE or something. Those red letters are fab and make the whole card so vibrant.

Mmmmmm....shiny. Love how the J & Y hug that green circle. This is a very clever layout. The split cardstock with the green showing through is the perfect anchor to the sentiment. Lalalove this. Bev

So that's shine I see. I thought it was a "candy cane like" paper. I love the way you put it all together with the green circle and line.

mmmm, reminds me of a brand new pair of shiny red boot! Not that I've ever owned any myself, but that would be fun. You know my favorite is how you created the O from the background of the card ... brilliant!!! I wonder if your sentiment would fit in the O ... "world" is probably too long. Too bad it wasn't "to world the". That would fit better : )

I should have read on before clicking for a bigger picture and trying to figure out how you'd done those amazing shiney red letters! Totally love how you did the 'o'! Anita :)
