CASology 20 - Gobble!

This week's CASology Cue Card is Gobble!

Man, it was hard to come up with something other than turkey for this challenge! Not that turkeys are bad; in fact, they're very appropriate at this time of year, but as I mentioned last week, Canadian Thanksgiving was in October, so I don't really  need a turkey card! lol!

Pacman came up on my Google search for gobble images (don't do it unless you've got good porn filters, please. Don't ask!) I remember when Pacman was the latest thing and now it's 'retro' and 'vintage'. I suppose I am as well!

I cut a 1" circle for Pacman himself, and drew on the back of it where I wanted to cut his mouth. For the ghosts, I used my smallest 'long oval' nestability and then drew a line on the back of each so they would all be the same height and then cut with pinking shears. I stamped a row of yellow dots and placed everything on the panel. I used this Stamps of Life sentiment - I thought the repetition of Happy would evoke the repetitive blip, blip, blip you hear as Pacman moves around.

Anyway. Now it's your turn to talk Turkey. Or Gobble.

But before you do, take a look and see what the other Design Team members came up with:

  10. If anyone could come up with a non-turkey creation for "gobble," it would be you with that amazing brain. Great card!!

Have fun on Friday and please don't get trambled! I don't want anything badly enough to get involved in that insanity!!

    Be safe!

  12. Absolute genius! Such a great interpretation and I love the touches of glitter and repeated happy. Kinda makes me want to play a round or two of Pacman... Where did my Atari get to?

And I'm morbidly curious about what I'd find if I put gobble into Google Images. I'm resisting though. For now...

  20. Okay - everyone has already said what I'm thinking. Your beautiful brilliant mind is, as usual, in high gear. This is the greatest and I have to case it! Also love your joy card and as I have a number of those snap embellishments (alas no JOY) I'll be working on my own take on that one as well. Thanks so much for your wonderful ideas.
